the solution

We have a clear solution on how to improve the safety and quality of the arts and athletics facility that we all in the Tri-Town enjoy.

1.Re-surface main stadium field with artificial turf

(Note: Crumb rubber will NOT be used for infill material. A number of alternative infill materials are currently available for use with synthetic turf fields.)

2.  New six-lane track and re-build of grass infield

3.  LED lights for main stadium field

4.  Digital LED light system for auditorium (Cooler/safer, more energy efficient)

5.  Audio system upgrades to wiring and the addition of monitors   for stage and control booth

This plan enables us to use just one of the two grass fields in the back of the complex, so the grass has a growing season to recover.

This plan also enables us to generate revenue through rental of the auditorium and artificial turf field to outside groups. The revenues generated would be held by the ORR District in a revolving account specifically designated for capital improvements.
